Swaged hose fittings can be crimped to one piece fittings to be ready to use for hose assemblies. Or they can be two piece fittings to be crimped with hose together to become hose assemblies. 
Swaged hose fitting with part number ending with 1 is for one and two wire braid hose, and with 2 is for four wire spiral hose. Generally, we use 1 for sizes from 1/8 inch to 5/8 inch, and 2 for sizes from 3/4 inch to 2 inch. The only difference between two is that 2 has longer tail.
